Certified Boom Repair Service Inc., Tampa, Fla., will restore a 2011 Link-Belt HTC-8675 truck crane that was wrecked last summer while being delivered from the factory to the end-user. The trailer it was being hauled on got stuck on railroad tracks and an oncoming train struck the driver’s side of the crane.

We are in the year 2011 and it’s amazing to me that people are still cold calling, leaving voicemails, asking for appointments, and, in general, trying to pull out their Felix the Cat tricks that were dead and gone the moment the Internet reached awareness. (No offense, Felix.)

With a maximum load of up to 208 tons, the LMH 600 is the strongest quay crane in service in the Port of Hamburg. The key feature is that Liebherr’s Synchronising Crane Control System which permits synchronised operation of two Liebherr port mobile cranes in tandem, using only one crane driver, hence increasing the ultimate load of the cranes.

I’ve eaten them for years, predominately on airplanes, more predominately on Delta. They also have them in the Delta lounge, and occasionally you can find them in the grocery store.
