Bluestem Introduces Industrial Rigging Telehandler

Bluestem Machine Works has introduced the Precision Rigger PR40, the first industrial telescopic handler designed with the needs of riggers in mind.
Liebherr unveiled the LTM 1160-5.2, a 190-ton mobile crane on a five-axle chassis. Compared to its predecessor, the LTM 1160-5.1, the LTM 1160-5.2 has a 20-25% increase in load capacity even though it uses the same 203-ft. telescopic boom.

Terex Adds Explorer 5600 All Terrain Crane.

Terex debuted the newest crane in its Explorer all-terrain crane family, the Explorer 5600. The 180-ton, five axle AT crane was designed for roadability.
Hoist rope for mobile cranes made from synthetic fibre has been launched by manufacturer Samson and crane maker Manitowoc.
Industrial Training International (ITI), which specializes in crane, rigging and lifting educational courses, is launching a new course aimed at providing foundation-level knowledge in rigging engineering.

IMT to Display 40 tm Articulating Crane at ConExpo 2014

IMT will showcase its 40/275 articulating crane at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2014, March 4 – 8 in Las Vegas.
