A crane company owner who pleaded guilty to bribing the city’s crane inspector, was sentenced today to serve two to six years in prison.
Officials say Michael Sackaris bribed the chief crane inspector, James Delayo to pass cranes which were unfit for use, and to allow un qualified operators on the cranes.
