A Rough Terrain crane overturned on a road in West Jones County, Mississippi on Friday, the operator escaped with moderate injuries.
The operator is reported to have said that he lost control of the steering, possibly do to a hydraulics failure, causing the crane to run off the road onto the verge causing it to flip over on its side.
The crane a 20 ton unit, possibly an old P&H Omega, is owned by a local contractor. Two heavy wrecker trucks were called in to upright the crane which was then towed away.
