Early 2009, Karoleena Custom Homes (Karoleena) created history by assembling the first Inner-City Enviro Home in Calgary, Alberta. Karoleena Custom Homes was established in 2005, and is the first and currently only builder in Calgary embracing systems-built homes. Systems-built homes are pre-manufactured in sections (modules), then transported and assembled at the job-site.
In order to complete this project, Karoleena needed a crane to lift the housing modules into their respective place. After calling a few different places, Kurt and Kris Goodjohn (Karoleena Owners) decided to use Stampede Crane & Rigging (Stampede) to have the job done properly. Stampede Rigging Supervisor, Ed Belder, was very responsive with Karoleena, which made them feel comfortable with their choice. Kurt (Co-Owner) said that their knowledge and experience made them feel very confident with their crane provider, and allowed them to focus on other aspects of the project, knowing the craining will get done correctly.
After being hired for the crane work on Karoleena’s Enviro-Home Project, Stampede Crane & Rigging took the opportunity to build a strong relationship with a new client. Flawlessly executing beyond the clients expectations, Stampede impressed Karoleena’s organization. Kurt Goodjohn (Co-Owner) had this to say about Stampede Crane & Rigging, “All Stampede representatives worked as a team, were responsive to requests and kept the entire job site organized and well managed.”
Karoleena was so impressed with Stampede Crane & Rigging they said, “We would welcome the opportunity to use Stampede on all our future projects”. That being said, this example shows how exceptional crane service helps build strong relationships that lead to loyal clientele.
