The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) has rebuilt and enhanced its website to add valuable new features and improve popular existing ones. One noteworthy upgrade is the new Career Center, where employers and recruiters can access the most qualified talent pool with relevant work experience to fulfill staffing needs.
Advertisers can select from four packages of 30-day online job postings, ranging from a single position to 10 positions. All jobs must be posted within one year of package purchase. There are also additional opportunities for employers to feature their jobs for extra exposure. In addition, employers receive access to the job seeker resume database when they purchase a job posting.
“Traffic has already been picking up noticeably at the SC&RA website in response to the Association’s recent efforts to provide visitors with a more dynamic, efficient resource,” said SC&RA Executive Vice President Joel Dandrea. “Whether members are using our website to stay abreast of Association news and benefits, registering for events, updating their directory listings, paying their dues or conducting other SC&RA business, they are noticing a significant improvement.”
Dandrea said the Career Center will become an increasingly important component of the website as the economy improves and competition intensifies for qualified personnel. “From our standpoint, it makes sense for us to make the match between our members and individuals looking for employment within our industry,” he noted. “In fact, we believe we can begin to attract some of the best and brightest employees from other industries.”
Employers can use the online Career Center to target their recruiting and reach qualified candidates quickly and easily. They can begin posting job openings the day they complete the registration form.
It only takes job applicants a few minutes to create an account to apply for jobs. Job seekers may also post a searchable resume at no charge.
Visitors may access the Career Center from the SC&RA website. If you have questions, please contact Matt Baehr.
