A 3,600 tonne capacity crawler, 2,000 tonne capacity all terrain and an 800 tonne capacity lattice truck crane are just some of the highlights at the Bauma China exhibition. The show, in Shanghai 27 to 30 November, boasts an amazing collection of new cranes from Chinese and other manufacturers.
Taking the lead on capacity at the show is the Sany SCC86000A lattice boom crawler crane. The maximum load moment rating of the double boom design crane on four crawler tracks is 86,000 tonne-metres.
From an initial brief walkaround on the first day of the show, some other cranes there include, also from Sany, a telescopic tower type crane with the upper works from an all terrain that resembles the Grove GTK. In addition to large all terrains and a rough terrain crane from XCMG there is the XCL800, an 800 tonne capacity lattice boom truck crane on eight axle carrier. Also on show is XCMG’s first foray into the tower crane market with the luffing jib XGTL1600-100.
