Terex has unveiled a new truck crane at Bauma China. The 36 tonne capacity Toplift 036G is built in Luzhou, China and features a lightweight 38 metre, five-section main boom and 14 metre swingaway jib giving a 51 metre maximum tip height.
“The Toplift 036G is a true Terex crane that shares more common features and styling details than ever before,” says Ken Lousberg, president of Terex China. “It incorporates design elements based on extensive customer and dealer feedback and blend Chang Jiang’s legacy for strength and lift performance with the latest Terex innovations.”
Terex says that the new larger driver and operator cab designs greatly increase operator comfort and its large cabin windows provide excellent visibility to lift points and to the left and right sides of the crane. The rated capacity indicator features a graphical display that provides immediate feedback of load weight and alerts the operator before the load is outside the rated lifting capacity for radius and configuration.
The Toplift 036G features a single or dual winch design and can lift a maximum 36,000kg capacity at 3.5 metre radius. Its engines meet China’s National Exhaust Standard IV and its maximum travel speed is 75 km per hour.
