A large mobile crane caught fire yesterday near Penrith, Cumbria, in the UK causing a major road closure.
The crane was travelling on the A66 road when it caught fire and burnt to a level that will probably result in it being scrapped. At this stage we have no details of who’s crane it is or what caused the fire. We understand that no one was hurt in the incident and that it will be removed/recovered tonight.
