YORK, PA – Operator Network, a part of GGS Technical Publication Services, has recently announced the addition of Chris Langley to its development and sales staff, following the recent successful launch and rapid growth in interest from crane owners and end-users for their online package of mobile and tower crane as well signal-person and rigger training programs.
The GGS Operator Network provides an array of training solutions and resources for today’s crane operators at www.operatornetwork.com.
One program – the mobile crane operator program – is also available in Spanish language. Chris joins Operator Network in the role of training representative and is responsible for introducing crane owners, general contractors and equipment operators in the United States to the availability of the new on-line curriculum – which also provides certified trainers and examiners for those individuals and companies seeking the written and practical exam and on-site hands-on training.
Before joining GGS, Chris worked in the building trades and operated several different types of construction equipment including telehandlers and skid-steer loaders. In his new role, he will be contacting crane owners, sub-contractors and others in acquainting and explaining to them the benefits of the new GGS on-line training program. A graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, Chris resides in the greater York, PA area.
The GGS curriculum is a series of training courses that can help optimize jobsite safety and assist operators in successfully completing actual testing and certification as a condition of employment called for with the adoption of new and upcoming federal and state or provincial regulations regarding crane safety.
Online training from GGS helps to solve these issues by allowing companies to have training “on-demand” with complete flexibility to schedule training within their production timetables. Time constraints are not a factor as learning can also be accomplished during off-work hours or over the weekend.
