A truck crane overturned onto a house yesterday in the town of Eunice Louisiana while lifting the limbs of a tree being removed from the back of the property.
The crane a three axle Terex truck crane owned by CDH Crane was set up with its outriggers on soft ground. We understand that it had almost completed the job when the two outriggers facing the work sank completely into the soft causing the crane to overturn and the boom to come crashing down on to the garage of the home.

A lady was in residence in the house, but was not hurt at all in the incident nor was the crane operator.
Two recovery cranes were called in and managed to help the overturned crane retract its boom and slew back into the transport position.
