The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) is warning employers to ensure tower crane examinations are carried out by “genuinely competent personnel.” The warning follows the release of guidance by the UK’s Health and Safety Executive (HSE) on the forthcoming Notification of Conventional Tower Cranes Regulations 2010.
