Liebherr Great Britain is adding a new Thorough Examination of Mobile Cranes training course at its training centre in Biggleswade, England.
The new course is based on the CPA Best Practice Guide for the Maintenance, Inspection and Thorough Examination of Mobile Cranes and is designed to enable an engineer to examine Liebherr mobile cranes in complete compliance with LOLER 98. This course is also a training element which forms part of the requirements to ensure that an engineer is deemed competent in the important skills of mobile cranes examination.
The course content includes:- Compliance with the CPA Maintenance, Inspection and Thorough Examination Best Practice Guide. Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations, (PUWER). Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations, (LOLER98). Liebherr duty charts and operating instructions. LICCON – rated capacity indicator. LICCON 1 and 2 Practical crane rigging and de-rigging. Technical forum.
The course runs for two days and costs £600 (approximatly $1,000.00 US) plus VAT per candidate. The course ratio will be six students to one instructor.
