NCCER will host an academy for safety management professionals September 19-25, 2009 at Clemson University, Clemson, SC.
NCCER’s Safety Management Academy is designed for both corporate safety directors and experienced field safety coordinators and provides the philosophy, operating knowledge, and techniques necessary to design and implement a quality construction safety program for contractors.
Participants experience an intense, one-week session of group projects, team building exercises, case studies, and lasting networking opportunities, NCCER said. Participants will also receive six continuing education units, a 30-hour OSHA card, and a certificate of completion from NCCER’s National Registry.
