A Rough Terrain crane working in southern Switzerland overturned on Tuesday while trying to lift a load that was too heavy.
The load was clearly too heavy with this boom length and radius
The crane was working on a construction site on the A13 in Roverdo, north east of Bellinzona, when it was lifting a large metal fabrication from a truck, which was just too heavy, causing the crane to tip forward just as it had raised the load clear.
Damage was not too severe
