OSHA has officially extended its November 10th 2014, deadline for employers to ensure that crane operators are certified until November 10th, 2017.
OSHA has also extended its employer duty to ensure that crane operators are competent to operate a crane safely for the same three-year period. See Osha to Delay Crane Rule
We understand that other aspects of the US Crane & Derricks in Construction Final Rule, which was first published in 2010 will come into operation on November 9th.
