Crane Institute Certification

Crane Institute Certification (CIC) announces that it achieved accreditation for four of its crane operator certification programs.

On May 22, 2013 OSHA announced that it will propose to extend the compliance date for the crane operator certification requirement by three years to Nov. 10, 2017.

US-based Crane Institute Certification (CIC) is looking at expanding into Canada with a reciprocal operator certification agreement with BCACS of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Crane Institute Certification reports it has expanded its staff and moved to a larger location. From 2011 to 2012, the number of certification tests given by CIC has grown by more than 30%. CIC experienced similar growth from 2010 to 2011.
