Crane Operator Training

In its October 2012 issue of CCOnline, the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) reports there has been much discussion about the new crane rule and how it may effect crane operator certification.

Safety in the construction industry is something that has been hotly debated in the region for many years. With cranes dominating the skyline, almost as much as the high-rise towers alongside them, it has been an on-going challenge to ensure that these potentially dangerous pieces of equipment are operated and maintained safely.

On Friday, Dec. 7, the FCOC is conducting a one-day panel discussion on OSHA’s new crane operator certification law that becomes effective in November 2014. The panel is open to all crane owners.
