Irish based international lifting and wind power specialist McNally/Windhoist has taken delivery of a 750 tonne Liebherr LG1750 lattice boomed truck mounted crane.The new crane travelled form the manufacturers Ehingen plant this week directly to its first contract in France where it will be used to erect a number of wind turbines.

Wind aquisitions and expansion at Makro
Crane services giant Makro, based in Brazil, is acquiring a range of mobile telescopic and crawler cranes, with wind energy being a major focus. A recent addition to the fleet was a 1,200 tonne capacity Liebherr LR 11200.
Liebherr erects cable-stayed bridge at eastern gateway to Sao Paulo
The 110 EC-B6 has a maximum lift capacity of 6t, which reduces to 1.5t at the maximum 55m length of the jib. The crane has an underhook height of 51.1m. Work on the bridge is now in its final phase, and the structure is expected to be completed by October this year.
UK based crane rental company Bronzeshield Lifting has taken delivery of a new 500 tonne Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 All Terrain crane.

The project, which has an order volume of about 130 million Euro. The new arena will provide seating for 55,000 people. A start was made on the demolition of the old stadium in December 2007, and completion is planned for December 2010.

The cranes can operate with raised jib angles between 15-70˚. They have been erected on 1.6 x 1.6m masts.
