Mobile Crane Accident
A boom truck crashed into the roof of a house in Concord New Hampshire yesterday as it attempted to lift parts of a tree from the rear garden.
A mobile crane overturned at a parking garage site in the Simei area of Singapore yesterday. The crane’s boom came to rest on the structure of the parking deck and no one was injured in the incident.
Truck crane, tipped over rearwards

Crane overturns at Tate Modern
A 110 tonne All Terrain crane overturned at London’s Tate Modern TM2 construction project, fortunately no one was hurt in the incident.
A mobile crane went over in the small town of Arrowtown, South Island, New Zealand earlier today as it was lifting a large tree. Lifting trees can be a challenging application at any time, but the three axle All Terrain appears to have been set up on soft ground without adequately sized outrigger mats. The load side outriggers have either retracted, or more likely punched into the ground.
Two cranes tipped over yesterday in separate incidents in the state of Vermont, in one a boom came down on a store. The first was a large National Crane boom truck owned Vermont Structural buildings of St Albans which overturned as it was preparing to lift a one tonne steel beam in the town of Georgia.

Work was underway on lowering concrete pads to form the foundation of a facility associated with the project when, for an unknown reason, a crane unit tipped over at about 9:30 a.m., said Greg Dobrowolski, special projects manager for the City of Dawson Creek. He said the driver of the crane was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
