Sylvan Enterprises has opened its crane operator and rigger/signalperson training center in Kingston, Tenn. The 1.3-acre facility is located 34 miles west of Knoxville off Interstate 40.
The location includes a 640-sq.-ft. training and rigging room. To support NCCCO preparation and practical tests, the site includes four cranes for the Mobile Crane and Overhead Operator Certification and will conduct all other courses including Site Supervisor, Lift Director and Assembly/Disassembly Director, and Inspector. Tower crane practical exams can be conducted using the owner’s cranes on site.

Ann Augustine is the office administrator and assists with the practical tests. Sylvan Enterprises is also completely mobile for customers wanting to use their cranes at their sites for the exams, nationwide.
Sylvan has supported NCCCO programs since 2007. John is also a member of the NCCCO Crane Inspector Task Force for the development of inspector testing for mobile, tower, and overhead cranes and provides comprehensive annual and monthly inspection services nationwide.
