Maximum Capacity Media, publisher of Crane Hot Line and Lift and Access magazines, will host the Construction Challenge 5K Run/Walk at ConExpo-Con/Agg on March 23, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nev. The Construction Challenge 5k Run/Walk will benefit the AEM Construction Challenge, an initiative designed to encourage young people to explore careers in the construction industry. High school teams will compete in the finals of the Construction Challenge, which is organized and presented by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers and Volvo Construction Equipment, during the week of ConExpo in Las Vegas. First held at the 2008 ConExpo-Con/Agg, the last 5K Run/Walk raised more than $5,000 for the Construction Challenge program. The 5K Run/Walk starts at 7 a.m., Wed., March 23. Runners and walkers should meet below the Las Vegas Hilton sign at 3000 Paradise Rd., Las Vegas. The $25 registration fee includes a Construction Challenge T-Shirt. Two awards will be given. A Corporate Cup will be awarded to the organization that has the most participants in the event and a Globe Trotter award will go to the participant who traveled the furthest to participate.
