Despite the OSHA deadline, both employers and operators should be pursing certification now – early compliance with the regulation is always the best choice, says Jerry Longtin, Crane Inspection & Certification Bureau (CICB) General Manager. A crane operator certification by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) is recognized by employers and contractors as the “gold standard” of crane and crane-related personnel certifications. The NCCCO is offering these exams at ConExpo-Con/AGG. This is a great opportunity to leave the Expo as Certified Operators.
To help operators with this process, CICB will be holding Mobile and Articulating Crane Operator Preparatory Training on March 3rd – March 5th before the exams at the Expo.
